New organisations are normally offered a 7 day trial. You get the plan you picked, in full, with no charge during the trial.

Who gets one

The trial is offered per organisation, and only once. An organisation that has already trialled or subscribed will not see it again, which is the usual reason someone expects a trial and does not get one.

The card check

Starting a trial requires a payment method, and Postiz places a small authorisation on it to confirm the card is real. The authorisation is released immediately and never becomes a charge. If it fails, the payment method is detached and the trial does not start. Use a different card.

What is limited during the trial

Two things behave differently while you are trialling:
  • Some AI video generators are unavailable. Ones that carry a real per-generation cost are held back until the trial converts. You get a clear message with the option to finish the trial early. Other generators work normally.
  • Reconnecting a previously connected channel is restricted, which prevents cycling channels to work around the plan’s channel cap during a free week.
Everything else, scheduling, publishing, analytics, automations, the API, works exactly as it will after you are billed.

Ending it early

Finish trial on the billing page bills you now and switches on everything the trial holds back. Do this if you hit the video generator restriction and want to get on with it.

What happens at the end

At day 7 your card is charged for the plan you chose and the subscription runs normally. Nothing changes in the app, because you already had the full plan.

Cancelling during the trial

Cancel before day 7 and you are not charged. Your channels and posts stay in the account, but posting stops when the subscription ends, see Downgrades and cancellation.
