Each plan on Postiz Cloud has a fixed cap on connected channels (a “channel” is one connected social account — e.g. one Twitter user, one Discord server). When you hit the cap, adding a new channel returns:
You have reached the maximum number of channels

How to free a slot

  1. Open Channels in the Postiz app.
  2. Find a channel you no longer need.
  3. Click Disable (or Disconnect / Remove, depending on UI version). This frees the slot immediately — you don’t need to delete past posts.
If you want to keep the channel’s history accessible but stop posting to it, Disable is enough; the data stays in your account.

How to raise the cap

Upgrade your plan on the Billing page. Each tier raises the channel limit; the exact numbers are visible on the plan comparison.

Self-host

Self-hosted Postiz has no channel cap — you can connect as many channels as the providers allow per OAuth app.
