Where: Calendar, Create Post, or click any empty slot The composer is where nearly all of Postiz happens. It is one modal with three columns and a footer.

The layout

The preview column is the part people underuse. It renders the post per platform, so a line break that collapses on one platform or a title that truncates on another is visible before you schedule rather than after.

The flow

1

Pick channels

Click the avatars at the top. Picking a customer selects all of that client’s channels at once.
2

Write once

The Global tab is the default. What you write there goes to every selected channel. See Global vs per-channel when one channel needs different text.
3

Add media

Drag a file in, paste an image, or open the media library. See Media.
4

Fill in per-channel settings

Some are required: YouTube needs a title, Reddit a subreddit, Pinterest a board. The composer will not let you save without them.
5

Schedule

Pick a time, then Save as Draft, Add to calendar, or Post Now. See Scheduling.

Starting from a set

If you have saved sets, Postiz offers them when you open a new post. A set restores a channel selection and its settings, which saves rebuilding the same combination every time. Continue without set skips it.

Starting from a signature

If one of your signatures is marked auto-add, it is already in the editor when the composer opens.

Leaving without saving

Closing the composer asks for confirmation, because nothing is kept:
Are you sure you want to close this modal? (all data will be lost)
If a post is half-written and you need to step away, Save as Draft instead. Drafts sit on the calendar and never publish.
